Triceratops… Stegosaurus…Tyrannosaurus Rex…
Oh my!!
The Nikola Clan had the privilege to visit one of Lake George’s (NY) newest attractions, Lake George Expedition Park, home of Magic Forest and now Dino Roar Valley!
We had a blast venturing through Dino Roar Valley’s ½ mile trail, in awe of the 16 featured life-sized dinosaurs. We read about each species, caught an entertaining and informative show with Roary the Raptor, climbed into a dinosaur nest and even dug for hidden fossils! It was a highly entertaining and educational family-friendly morning.
After walking through this prehistoric nature trail, we headed into Lake George Expedition Park’s 56-year-old amusement park, Magic Forest. Talk about nostalgia, I remember visiting Magic Forest close to 30 years ago. The kiddies went on a few classic rides and had nothing but smiles! Magic Forest is currently in the process of updating its rides and attractions which means we’ll be back to visit in the upcoming years!
The next time you find yourself in the Lake George area, be sure to make a stop at Lake George Expedition Park! There are various admission packages (take advantage of the combo ticket where you visit both attractions and save $5 here). There are special workshops (Fossil Fixers and Diggin’ up Dinos) where you can add-on to make your visit even more memorable! Heck, you can even celebrate your birthday with Roary the Raptor (check out birthday party packages here).
The 2019 season is coming to an end October 27, 2019, and will reopen Spring 2020. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or see Lake George Expedition Park’s FAQ section on its website (here). Be sure to check out their website here and follow them on Facebook and Instagram to be in the know of all the exciting and roaring events!
