I have a love/hate relationship with August but I’m choosing to love it this year!
August is my birthday month and for the past few years, it’s been an anxiety driven event. #sorrynotsorry
I can’t quite put it into words what triggers it- if I have to guess, it would be the fact I’m getting older and it makes me more aware that my babies need me to be “young” and healthy to take care of them.
Does that make any sense?
This year, I’m purposely not going to focus on “getting older” but just count my blessings and even set some goals.
Just a few things I intend to work on:
*PATIENCE, patience, patience with my babies #deepbreaths
*Be OK that I can’t balance IT ALL #hardpilltoswallow
*Self- care! Mamas got to take care of her mind, body (OMG, vacation is killing me #noselfcontrol), and soul!
*Speak more of The Hubs’ love language (highly recommend this read!! Check it out here,
*Dedicate more time to sharing my journey of mamahood as well as all my fashion and beauty tidbits, and gluten free eats with you, mamas #mamasliftup #diamondtribe
Although these just came to mind (thinking of a few more) I’m making myself a promise to ensure these goals and thoughts are worked on a daily basis, so I know this year is going to be nothing short of amazing #34isgoingtosparkle
Does your birthday bring about self-reflection or is it just me? I’d love to hear!
