What do you do to your hair?
As of October 2018, my hair color is balayage and then I curl it daily! You can get these curls, too! Check out my video tutorial, here!
What is “The Compound”?
I live on a 70-acre apple farm with my family on all sides- my brother is my neighbor and then my parents are down a few rows of trees. We drive golf carts and four-wheelers and love to go fishing in the spring. Love our Compound!
What do you do when you’re not blogging?
I work full time as a middle school, special education teacher and an S & D Ambassador <3 me my EVER Skincare
Why do you share gluten-free recipes and finds?
Sophia, my daughter, has celiac disease which requires her to eat gluten-free in order to thrive and live a healthy life. She was diagnosed in 2014 (2.5 years old) after a two-week stay at a local children’s hospital. What happens if she ingests gluten? It’s not good, you can read how severe her case is right here.
What are your favorite beauty/make-up products? (I am in the process of trying “cleaner” beauty products. Feel free to send recommendations on over.)

Who is “Enriquez”?
It’s a nickname for “The Hubs”, Andrew. He was a radio DJ, known as “Andrew Enriquez” for many years and then started his own an entertainment company. Check him out, www.enriquezentertainment.com
Did you breastfeed?
Indeed! I breastfed/pumped for 1,095 days.. Or in other words, the first year of each of a Nikola Kiddie’s life! I went through a nursing strike with Sophia (read that here) and even experienced thrush and blanching with Jameson #ohmygawd #thatwasterrible. It was by far one of the most self-less and most demanding experiences I’ve ever done in my entire life.
Wait, so you camp?
Haha! Camp, no… Glamp, yes!! The Clan loves to glamp in our fifth wheel, Large Marge. She’s a Solitude by Grand Design; a real beaut and just perfect for us. We went through two travel trailers before we found her. Two of our favorite places are Lake George Escape and Massey’s Landing (pictured below).
Where did you get that blue and white gingham dress?
It’s from our local Vineyard and Vines outlet store! It’s one of my most favorite dresses, EVER!
